History
Leading the way in animal health

Animal Medicines Australia (AMA) is the peak industry body representing the leaders in the animal health industry in Australia. It was established to advocate for policies that support the responsible development, regulation, and use of veterinary medicines, vaccines, and animal health products.
AMA has played a key role in shaping the regulatory environment for animal health products, working closely with government agencies, industry stakeholders, and veterinarians to ensure access to safe and effective treatments for livestock, companion animals, and wildlife. AMA has also been instrumental in promoting responsible pet ownership, biosecurity, and innovation in animal healthcare.
Over the years, AMA has evolved to become a trusted voice in animal health policy, providing research-driven insights and industry expertise to influence decision-making at both national and international levels.
