About the Project
Veterinary vaccines play a critical role in:
- Animal health and welfare
- Livestock productivity
- Biosecurity
- Food security
However, system-level challenges, including regulatory complexity, supply constraints, and market limitations, prevent many vaccines from reaching the field.
This project takes a whole-of-system approach to understanding how veterinary vaccines move from research to real-world use.

- Mapping vaccine needs across sectors
- Identifying barriers across regulation, manufacturing, supply, and adoption
- Assessing emerging technologies
- Building a national Community of Practice
- Developing a coordinated Innovation Agenda
