What are Parasiticides?
Parasiticides are products that kill parasites that infest livestock, pets and other animals. Products will have an active ingredient that will kill or inhibit growth along with a series of non-active ingredients such as solvents and stabilisers, that make up the formulation.
Parasiticides are categorised into the following:
Ectoparasiticides – control external parasites such as fleas, ticks, mites, lice and fleas
Endoparasiticides – control internal parasites such as roundworms, tapeworms and fluke
Endectocides – control both external and internal parasites
